QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Oversee the factory food safety system to ensure that all factory systems and certifications are maintained.
• Manage the quality assurance departments internal audit system.
• Assist in the scheduling and conduction of management reviews to ensure that management are aware of any changes and/or challenges to the food safety system.
• Monthly reports and trending records of non-conformances products production process as well as internal and external audits during food safety meetings.
• Tracking of the timeous closure of non-conformances products and reporting any issues to management.
• Respond to external audit CARs for BRC, IBL, etc.
• Manage the Laboratory’s day to day QC activities including the product release.
• Overall management of the QC laboratory chemicals and equipment by ensuring adequate supplies and equipment checks.
• Compile pallets release for the marketing team’s sales orders to ensure that only the released product is sent to customers.
• Compile certificates of analysis (COA) reports for all final products for every sales order.

• Able to work without supervision.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Power Point)
• Working Knowledge of HACCP.
• A Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or Biotechnology.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in similar environment.
• Certificate in food safety (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, etc.)
