QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER - SOUTHERN SUBURBS - MARKET RELATED

Use your Engineering Degree and relevant experience to manage the day-to-day activities of the QA TEAM. You will lead the evaluation and execution of quality improvement initiatives for the site and work with the manufacturing team to ensure customers receive a premium product and business experience. In addition to this you will:

The coordination and implementation of all quality initiatives within the manufacturing facility and act as the voice of the customer.

Other key activities include Quality Management System maintenance (ISO 9001 and ISO 3834), Product and Process Quality Assurance, NCR and give training for all these topics. You will administer the warranty field claim system and welding co-ordination will be part of your responsibilities.

You will manage all quality personnel in the factory in alignment with the companies'' goals and initiatives and work closely with the manufacturing department to identify systemic internal defects and coordinate problem solving activities. Additionally, you will also help coordinate improvements with suppliers, engineering and supplier quality to improve component manufacturing processes.

You combine a four-year degree in Engineering, or other technical degree, with significant coursework in engineering or quality principles.

Training (or experience) in statistical analysis and strategic metrics. Any additional training (or experience) in Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, TQM or Lean principles is an advantage.

Also Welding & Fabrication Inspector (Level 1 or 2) or Non-Destructive Testing (PT) Level 2 is a plus.

For this position you will be required to travel 10-20% of the time
