SUMMARY:
Our client has created the next generation health screening application and is looking for a QA Tester to join their team, based in Rosebank, Johannesburg. 
 
Are you a meticulous tester, able to test across web, Android and iOS?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • ISTQB certification
Experience and Knowledge Required
  • 3+ years' Manual and functional testing of Mobile (iOS |Android) and Web applications.
  • Jira, BitBucket, Confluence, Postman, Browser Dev Tools, TestRail, BrowserStack, etc
  • SQL, Selenium
  • Unix commands
  • Good understanding of JavaScript
  • In-depth knowledge of Web technologies (HTML and CSS)
  • Agile / Scrum experience
Role:
  • Manual and functional testing efforts comprise the bulk of this position.
  • Manually perform end-to-end tests websites, iOS |Android apps, APIs, and internal CMS tools.
  • Create detailed and well-structured Test Plans/Cases for sprint tickets, to ensure quality standards in each release.
  • Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems
  • Perform software inspection, testing, verification and validation. This includes software and software work-product early defect detection and removal, testing (e.g., types, levels, strategies, tools and documentation) and verification and validation methods and techniques
