QA (Quality Assurance) Pharmacist (FTC 12 Months)

This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Midrand, South Africa

Position Overview:

A pioneer in the medical devices and diagnostics industry has a great opportunity available for a QA (Quality Assurance) Pharmacist. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

As the Quality Assurance Pharmacist, one will be ensuring that the company’s products comply with the local and international Quality Assurance standards and guidelines by following Pharma Quality Standards, safeguarding legal compliance to these, and thereby ensuring the quality assurance function in totality.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

A completed Pharmacy degree – NQF 7 or any related qualification
A minimum experience of 3 – 5 years as a pharmacist in the pharmaceutical environment
Demonstrate evidence of maintaining and upholding rules and SOP’s
In-depth knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical and medicines legislation
Experience with APQR and product releases
Production or QA exposure in a factory environment
