SUMMARY:
Our client is a major force in the data management field and is on the lookout for an energetic and passionate QA Engineer to join their IT department. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical, detail-orientated person with a knack for data troubleshooting and data analysis.

Job Description:
As a QA Engineer, your daily duties and tasks will be centered around working alongside the product team to understand requirements, triage possible bugs, replicate issues found on local and client environments, capture issues on Jira, client release testing, alpha testing, ensure new feature meet criteria and provide feedback in line with QA functionality.

Skills & Experience:
Data analysis, modelling and surfacing
Data cleaning and checking
Creating reports using Excel or equivalent
SQL, SSIS, database scripting
Debugging and refactoring
Data queries
Presenting information using data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlikview, etc.)

Advantageous:
Experience with APIs
Some experience with programming languages
ETL or data warehousing knowledge
Statistical languages
