QA Document Controller

Minimum requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics as a subject
• 1+ years working experience within the same or similar role
• Knowledge on Quality Assurance systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in MS Word, Excel
• Proficient in typing (minutes of meetings)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail is key
• Knowledge in Adobe Professional will be an advantage
• Experience in the regulated pharmaceutical/food industry
• Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 17:00 and Fridays till 16:30 (one Saturday per month -compensated by getting the following Friday afternoon off)

Duties will be, but not limited to:

• Managing the Quality Management System filing: Non-conformance Reports, Change Controls, CAPA’s, Complaints and risk registers in the QA Department
• Coordinating all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including BMR’s, BPR’s and SOP’s
• Managing and assisting in the release of bulk and finished products including updating the ERP software
• Managing the issue, tracking, filing and retrieval of all QA related documents and training records
• Reviewing and maintaining requisitions and all related files prior to releasing any documents to dispensary and packing departments
• Issuing of additional pages from the BMR/BPR and maintaining a record of such issues
• Scanning of executed batch documents for certain customers as required
• Creating and/or updating Batch Manufacturing/Packaging Records
• Inputting document data into the standard registers such as logbooks ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
• Maintaining files and control logs as required by the QA Department
