QA Automation Engineer required for a company in Liverpool city centre.
This company are a well-known UK organisation who really look after their staff, and create an enjoyable working environment.
There''s a push at the moment to move from the company''s legacy stack to something a bit more modern (such as Java 11+, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation etc.), and this includes the testing function as well. It''s a ideal time to review software testing process and practices, particularly across automation testing, which is where you come in!
Day to day you will be focusing mainly on automation testing, using Java to carry out the testing. The organisation value attitude over specific experience/certifications however experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Robot, Cypress etc. On a more holistic level, you will be looking at modernising automation software testing techniques e.g. implementing a BDD or TDD approaches as is relevant.
You will have most of the following skills/experience:
**Strong automation testing experience
**Agile
**TDD/BDD practices
**CI/CD pipelines
**Peformance and load testing
**Regression testing
The company are based in Liverpool, but can offer a hybrid working model, with two days working from home per week.
The salary on offer is up to £37,500.
