I specialize in placing professionals in the financial space. My clients are consistently on the lookout for accomplished Purchasing Agent with hands on experience, strong academic records and a stable work track record within a Group Shared Services environment.

As a Purchasing Agent, you will responsible for the following:

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost
• Research select and purchase quality products and services
• Conduct site visits
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
• Provide analysis on costs
• Prepare reports and update
• Negotiate quotations to improve prices and terms of business
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships
• Provide data to contracts management
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoices issues

Qualifications:

Completed Bcom and CIPS qualified

Skill:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Educational environment is preferred

Excellent attention to detail
