Become the go-to technical expert for property systems, leading software implementations, supporting users, and driving successful technology adoption across the business.

Location: Cape Town (Hybrid / Remote with 1–2 days per month in office) | Working Arrangement: Remote-first | Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM UK Time | Salary: R35,000.00 – R37,000.00 per month (£20,000 p.a.)

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client operates within the property sector and is seeking a dedicated Property Systems & Support Specialist to provide technical leadership across their property software ecosystem.

Working closely with key stakeholders, the successful candidate will support software implementations, configure and optimise property systems, provide technical support to the wider team, and help ensure successful adoption of new technology across the business.

THE ROLE: PROPERTY SYSTEMS & SUPPORT SPECIALIST

This is a hands-on technical role focused on property software, system configuration, software implementation, and user support. Working directly alongside Zoe, you will take ownership of system setups, software rollouts, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting end users while ensuring property systems effectively support operational and finance processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the first point of contact for all Qube and IT-related support queries.
• Troubleshoot software bugs and resolve operational system issues.
• Configure, set up, and roll out new software modules, system updates, and technology tools.
• Work directly with Zoe on software implementations and system configurations.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for property software.
• Maintain system data integrity.
• Set up and manage user permissions.
• Optimise software workflows.
• Create technical user guides and system documentation.
• Train team members on system functionality, software best practices, and new implementations.
• Align technical system setups with Accounts Payable (AP) and financial operations.
• Support back-office processes through effective system configuration.
• Configure, test, and deploy new software modules and technology tools.

ABOUT YOU

• Direct hands-on experience using Qube or a similar property management software platform (e.g. Yardi, Re-Leased, or MRI Software).
• Proven technical background as an IT super-user with expert-level software troubleshooting capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in system administration, including managing user access/permissions and maintaining system data integrity.
• Experience configuring, testing, and rolling out new software modules and technology tools.
• Strong ability to create technical user guides and deliver software training to end users.
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and financial operations workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Based in or near Cape Town.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM UK hours.
• Experience working within remote or hybrid teams (desirable).
• Prior exposure to the property management or real estate sector (desirable).
• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Sage, Pastel, or similar tools (desirable).
