SUMMARY:
A pioneer and market leader in the Property industry based in Rosebank Jhb is looking for a energetic and enthusiastic Property Manager with efficient management skills of residential properties.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Degree in real estate, property management, business administration or a related field
• 2 to 5 years’ Experience as a property manager or in a similar role
• Working knowledge of property regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and property management software
• Understanding of marketing and property management software
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer service

Duties include but not limited to:

• Preparing and managing budgets
• Marketing and advertising to attract new tenants, this includes viewings of the property and encouraging referrals
• Interviewing tenants and doing credit checks
• Enforcing of lease agreements
• Addressing tenant complaints and inspecting vacated units
• Contracting and supervising repairs and maintenance
• Preparation and control of the 3 year budget
• Collecting rent, dealing with late payments and handling operating expenses
• Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints and maintenance
• Preparing reports on the financial performance of properties
• Terminating leases and inflicting eviction proceedings
