SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Maintenance / Repairs Manager, for a permanent role in Cape Town, Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with 5+ years’ experience in a repairs & maintenance management role for the property industry – handling both properties and vehicle maintenance
Valid driver’s license
High level of computer literacy and good communication skills
Staff management skills (4 teams)
Good working knowledge and experience in maintenance – both property & vehicle
Experience with insurance claims
Clear criminal records and contactable references

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage 4 maintenance teams and control insurance claims
Oversee vehicle maintenance including regular inspections of overall repairs completed and building safety checks
Must be hands on in the role
Properties are positioned across the Cape Flats and is a mix of residential and commercial tenants
Liaison with tenants regarding repairs / maintenance / insurance claims

Salary: R20 000.00 – R25 000.00 per month (CTC)
