SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Maintenance / Repairs Manager, for a permanent role in Cape Town, Western Cape
 



JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 
  • Grade 12 with 5+ years’ experience in a repairs & maintenance management role for the property industry – handling both properties and vehicle maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High level of computer literacy and good communication skills
  • Staff management skills (4 teams)
  • Good working knowledge and experience in maintenance – both property & vehicle
  • Experience with insurance claims
  • Clear criminal records and contactable references
 
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Manage 4 maintenance teams and control insurance claims
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance including regular inspections of overall repairs completed and building safety checks
  • Must be hands on in the role
  • Properties are positioned across the Cape Flats and is a mix of residential and commercial tenants
  • Liaison with tenants regarding repairs / maintenance / insurance claims
 
Salary:  R20 000.00 – R25 000.00 per month (CTC)
