Property Inspector

SUMMARY:

Experienced handyman in Pretoria with own reliable transport, maintenance qualification and Payprop experience  wanted to conduct quality inspections on a variety of properties.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Maintenance/ Home inspection certificate or similar
• General handyman skills 
• 3-5 years experience 
• Reliable transport 
• Communications skills
• Organised
• Problem solving abilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checking payprop at the end of each month for quality control inspections that need to be done and adding this to the google docs sheet for Pretoria
• Arrange a suitable time and date for the inspections in Pretoria always working 1 to 2 weeks in advance
• Doing the comparison report on red rabbit and advising the owner and tenant as to who is liable for what
• Sending quotes to owner and tenant, getting quotes approved, scheduling the work with outsourced contractors, ensuring work is done and hand invoice to portfolio admin once payments is needed
• Reaching a target of 80 inspections per month = 4 per day (This can also be made up where you are assisting the agents with inspections etc.)
• Assisting with entry, exit and viewings when/if required
• Delivering summons’ on request of Portfolio office
• Assisting with maintenance on site when required
• Sourcing material upon request
• Assisting with buying of material when/if required
• Attending to emails and provide feedback within 24 hours
• Opening tickets for quality control maintenance on RR and follow through until ticket is closed
• Checking on maintenance work once completed if requested.
