Ideal role that focuses on Financial Reporting, Analysis and Operations - Property Asset Manager position available for a CA(SA) / Non-CA with a formal degree in Accounting

Job & Company Description:

Our client forms part of a larger group of companies within the Asset and Property Management sector. They are recruiting for the role of Property Asset Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis but will also have a strong operational focus. The successful incumbent for this role will have the relevant qualifications and must have Property industry experience.

Minimum Education and Years of Experience Required:

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) up to 1-2 years’ post articles experience with strong Property industry exposure (Can be from audit firms, consulting or within the commercial sector)

OR

• B.Com Degree in Accounting/Finance with SAICA/SAIPA articles and a minimum of 2-3 years’ post articles experience within the Property industry

OR

• B.Com Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 5-7 years’ post articles experience within the Property industry

• Asset Management
• Valuations
• Deal Negotiations
• Leasing & Renewal Agreements
• Preparation of Operational Budget
• Financial Reporting & Controls
• Financial Analysis
• Market Trends & Profitability Studies
• Profit vs Loss Calculations
• Cost Saving Initiatives
• Financial Modelling
• External Stakeholder Engagement
• Risk Analysis
• Tax & VAT Calculations

Skills Required:

• Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Exposure to programs such as CloudTamers or MDA highly beneficial
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Must be able to conduct yourself in a highly professional and client-facing environment
• Must have a stable track record and contactable references
