Accountant with MDA experience

POSITION INFO:

THE CLIENT

Listed property investment firm based in Centurion with a property portfolio that include 22 retail assets (worth apx R 5,7bn) both locally and in Africa. They are widely regarded as a market-leading leading within the specialised “township & rural” niche that it operates.

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must be able to work on her/his own and meet deadlines in a listed environment.

Experience on MDA and in property industry will be a requirement.

The candidate must have a B Com degree, a 3year Diploma in Accounting or alternatively extensive experience in accounting

A BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

FULL bookkeeping functions to balance sheet

Full Cashbook and creditors experience

Maintain FA register and depreciation

Maintain Amortisation schedules

Strong reconciliations abilities

Solid knowledge of MDA / MRI Property Systems

Must be able to do management accounts and monthly KPI and management reports

Cash flow report, income statement etc.

Min 5 years’ experience in books to balance sheet

Monthly VAT returns and annual VAT reconciliations

Year-end Journals and Preparation for Audit of listed company

Drafting of Annual Financial Statements will be an advantage

Company TAX calculations and submissions

Clear ITC and good reference

Must be able to work under pressure
