A well-established and innovative leader in the property industry seeks a driven and experienced Property Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

A well-established and innovative leader in the property industry seeks a driven and experienced Property Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

In this role you will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to reviewing the trial balance and asissting with variance reporting, bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors age analysis, cashbook and preparation of monthly journal entries. You will also do inter-company loan reconciliations, as well as calculation of interest on loans, preparation of balance recons and maintenance of the fixed asset register.

Some more duties include monthly management reporting and board pack preparations. This is an all-rounder role and the successful candidate must be diligent and hard-working. Someone who can be part of a highly motivated team.

Education:

BCom in finance or accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles will be preferred

3 to 4 years’ experience in an similar role within the property industry is a non-negotiable

MDA experience is a non-negotiable

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a non-negotiable

Income statement variance analysis experience is a non-negotiable

Intercompany balancing and calculation of interest is a non-negotiable

Meticulous attention to detail
