SUMMARY:
Our client based in Pretoria East is looking for a Proofreader to join their team. A formal qualification in Linguistics or English language, we could look at a person with strong writing/journalist qualification
POSITION INFO:
Responsible for the daily quality control of all projects, internal and external, across all relevant media platforms.
The proofreader needs to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail on a daily basis.
The Proof reader''s secondary responsibility is writing copy across all platforms and genres; therefore, you will work with designers, animators, and other specialists across all clients and platforms.
Exceptional understanding and appreciation of the English and Afrikaans language
If you have worked even as a lecturer in languages/ linguistics this could be for you
Strong writing skills required
A clear understanding of, and the ability to perform: proofreading (spelling and grammar), editing, and rewriting (if necessary)
Time Management / Deadline driven
