POSITION INFO:

Consulting Engineering firm that handles world-class rebuild optimization projects is growing their support team and requires a Project Secretary to provide secretarial support services to the company and Project Delivery teams.

Permanent position, own vehicle require and will be required to travel to site (based in Rustenburg). A highly pressurized, fast-paced and challenging environment for a demanding and professional client that only expects excellence.

Job description / core competencies:

Secretarial support services to Company and Project Delivery teams.
Prepare presentations.
Review all Company documents, e.g. templates, reports, minutes, proposals and external communications to express the correct look and feel, style, grammatical correctness is of an acceptable standard and quality for communication within the Company and external communication to clients, vendors, suppliers in line with the company Brand Manual etc.
Reporting. Collect information from different departments (Safety Cost, Planning, Construction, Quality etc.).
Ensure that it is received timeously. Compile the information into the agreed report template. Ensure style and grammatical correctness of the report.
Consistency in style and format of all Company documents.
Maintain the register and standard of all Company documents on a consistent basis to maintain a high standard which eliminates errors.

Required qualifications:
Senior Certificate
Relevant secretarial Certificate or Diploma

Minimum of 5 years mining or projects experience

Projects: from minor capital projects to major expansion process projects in the mining environment with a special focus on metal furnaces.
Have in-house knowledge to design and execute projects for processing and maintaining facilities from initial treatment of mined ore to the production of a saleable product.
In-house resources for process, civil, structural, platework, piping and mechanical work.
The project services department incorporates the planning, procurement, cost control, project accounting and cost engineering disciplines.
