Project Manager (Pretoria)

POSITION INFO:

Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles.

Qualifications Required:

vGrade 12.

vNational Diploma Project Management / relevant experience.

Prime Responsibilities:

vResponsible for new business and the growing of the existing business.

vDirect and manage project development from beginning to end.

vDefine project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with executive management.

vDevelop project plans and schedule.

vEffectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.

vCommunicate with customers on ongoing basis.

vSet and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers.

vDraft and submit budget proposals, and recommended subsequent budget changes where necessary.

vPlan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools;

vTrack project milestones and deliverables.

vDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.

vIssue status reports to the project team.

vProactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

vDefine project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

vCoach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

vBuild, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.

vConduct project meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

vDevelop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

vDeveloping of customer quotes.

Experience Required: 5-8 year, Retail Industry (Shop Fitting)
