Project Manager/ Co-Ordinator

SUMMARY:
IT Infrastructure Services Company, servicing UK clients remotely is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team.

POSITION INFO:

Roles and Responsibilities

• To oversee the delivery of multiple projects providing IT infrastructure and architectural services to my client and their clients.
• Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• To provide support to the Professional Services Team by coordinating and briefing its members, providing operational and logistical guidance, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and by facilitating appropriate communications between all project stakeholders.

The PM must demonstrate the ability to:

• Coordinate Technical Roadmaps.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project, scope and budget.
• Dynamically manage the challenges and priorities of a portfolio of projects concurrently.
• Assist with the development and continuous improvement of processes and KPIs that will increase the measurable quality of project deliveries.
• Measure project performance using appropriate KPIs, systems, tools and techniques.
• Thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to coordinate the successful delivery of concurrent, disparate projects.
• Ensure all prerequisites are in place for engineer on-site work
• Book meetings with clients
• Schedule project work in engineer diaries
• Ensure work and process documentation systems are kept up to date
• Send starter documentation to clients and follow-up (via phone and email) with clients to agree dates for project work
• Capacity reporting and forecasting
• Respond to queries from internal teams
• Manage project closure process
• Manage implementation projects, including client expectations and project risks.
• Track issues and develop anticipatory mitigation and contingency plans.
• Set and manage client expectations and day-to-day interaction; organize and
• facilitate project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations.
• Delivery ownership.
• Ensure PM fundamentals such as scope, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risks,
• and updates are kept current and accurate.
• Abstract, organise, and structure process objectives, workflows, and key attributes; automate and eliminate repeatable/non-required work.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.

Education/ Experience:

• Matric
• IT Degree/ Diploma
• PMBOK or PMP Certification
• At least 4 – 5 years in a similar role NOT NEGOTIABLE
