POSITION INFO:
Project Manager required for a small but buzzing company in the centre of Manchester.
Every day is different with this company - and they genuinely do mean that! One day you could be testing a website for an event, the next a mobile healthcare app and the next a VR game. It really is a varied environment with loads of different things to get stuck into.
The ideal person for this role would have some sort of digital agency experience, or maybe consultancy - the team would love someone who comes from an environment where there are lots of projects on the go at once.
This is an ideal opportunity to be able to move to an influential position within a company, which you might not be able to do in a larger agency with many Project Managers. You will form part of the Delivery team - which will consist of the Project Manager (that''s you), Engineering Manager and Scrum Master. Whilst the other two will be more inward focusing, you will be the main point of contact for clients which will involve gathering requirements and delivering roadmaps (amongst other things!).
You''ll have most of the following key skills/experience:
**Experience within a digital agency
**Experience within an Agile Scrum environment
**Strong client-facing experience
**Gathering requirements
**Managing ticket and time management, and reporting
Ultimately, you''ll be a self-driven person with the ability to self-manage. There''s loads of support within the team, but as the sole Project Manager you''ll need to be confident in taking initiative and just getting on with things.
Location wise, the company have a studio in Manchester City Centre (close to Manchester Victoria station), so easy to commute to. Due to client facing meetings, they would like someone in the office at least once a week although most folk have decided to come in two-three times a week. This means anyone based in the North West who can realistically commute once a week is encouraged to apply.
Salary wise the company are able to offer £35,000 - £45,000 for a 35-hour flexi-time working week, as well as holidays, profit share and referral schemes.
