Project Manager

SUMMARY:
The position of Project Manager is within the Training Department of a listed Insurance company. The role requires the Project Manager to manage and oversee the delivery of high quality learning and development projects.

POSITION INFO:

All work must be done accurately, comprehensively and in-line with set quality standards.

• Managing the delivery of high-quality learning and development projects, which span over multiple short and long-term insurance and investment product portfolios, ensuring that the project objectives, deadlines, and business requirements are met.
• Manage the completion status of key learning deliverables such as skill analyses, learning solution plans, design specifications, scripts, storyboards, facilitator and participant materials, course pilots and deployment plans.
• Applying and adhering to the project management principles and processes and ensuring that they are effectively applied throughout the lifecycle of the project, through to project closure and handover.
• Facilitate regular project meetings.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Scheduling and tracking of all projects and tasks using Asana.
• Effectively resolving any issues that arise throughout the lifespan of the project with suitable solutions.
• Supporting, guiding, motivating, and facilitating the Instructional Designers through the project processes.
• Identification and management of risks and opportunities.
• Continually communicating the status to project stakeholders and alerting the relevant parties if project completion dates face significant challenges and/or issues that may materially impact the overall successful achievement of the expected outcomes within stated timelines.
