Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Looking for a Project manager who will be based in Johannesburg. In this role, you will work closely with Business managers and IT leaders within the organization to deliver projects plus provide project support senior managers on key initiatives.

POSITION INFO:

Education, Certification and Experience:

• University or college degree, or appropriate experience
• PM/ PMBOK certification in good standing, or demonstrated path to achievement
• 5 years of project management experience, supporting medium to large technical/business project environments
• Advanced skills in MS Projects, Waterfall and Agile
• Strong analytical skills; ability summarize data and requirements into meaningful management reports
• Experience standardizing business and Project management lifecycle processes

• Skilled at using MS Outlook, Microsoft Project plus the Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).     

Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of project management techniques, tools and methodologies
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize wide range of tasks
• Very good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal direction and with frequent interruptions
• Capable of handling a high volume of work with many deadlines to meet
• Ability to develop networks throughout the company. Can work effectively within multiple levels and focus areas of the organization (Technical, IT & Business)
• Proficient at sharing knowledge and contributing to group discussions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable
• A strong sense of ‘Team.
