POSITION INFO:

Project Manager – Data Analytics- Pretoria

Our client in the medical sector is seeking to hire a motivated Project Manager to provide full project, data analytics and administrative support at a senior level to the COO to ensure the smooth management of projects, to handle complex issues in a professional and objective manner, and to take initiative as appropriate especially in the COO’s absence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience analysing data and managing projects
• University degree in Business, (Computer) Science or Engineering (Specific degree less important than the achievement)
• Pharmaceutical and/or Pharmacy experience and knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Perform data analytics assignments
• Identify and implement improvements on company systems and procedures
• Managing work as projects with regular project update reports
• Assist with ad hoc projects
• Investigating possible system issues and driving appropriate solutions
• Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence
• Managing databases and filing systems
• Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines
• Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
• Liaising with staff and clients
• Drafting and reviewing policies, SOPs, and related correspondence
• Assist with operational tasks
• Ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills:

• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
• Project Management skills (preferably with related qualification – diploma or certificate)
• Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software
• Ability to work with and understand data, specifically to process, design and present it in ways that help people, businesses and organizations make better data-based business decisions
• Strong Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Outlook
• Ability to deal professionally with clients
• Ability to build and maintain good client relationships
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must have own reliable vehicle
• Working knowledge of market-leading data analytics tools such as PowerBI is desired but not required
