SUMMARY:
Our client is a mineral processing company providing solutions for the recovery of ultra-fine minerals, operating in Projects and Engineering services, Operations Management and Process Equipment. Currently, they have an opportunity for a Project Engineer - Procurement, Quality and Expediting to join their team within the mining process industry. Based in Gauteng – Centurion

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Role:

Taking lead with technical procurement in accordance with client-specific standards.
Taking the lead in terms of quality on all disciplines
Expediting of procured equipment

Job Experience:

BEng / BSc in Electrical / Mechatronics / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Industrial

Skills Required:

Technical project procurement for equipment and instrumentation required
Conducting quality control
Expediting of procured equipment, managing OEM project schedules and ensure timeous delivery of goods
Manage OEM contracts – including negotiations and management of order placed
Generating of contracts with OEM
Ensure engineering design integration is done in terms of procured equipment with design office
Manage income & expenditure of the project
Manage installation and commissioning of all designs and systems
Setting up of meetings with relevant stakeholders and compiling reports
