SUMMARY:
A leader within the manufacturing industry seeks to employ a Design/Project Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

  • Matric
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

 Requirements

  • 3 years’ practical experience
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in design and development within the mining industry will be a bonus
  • Good understanding of technical concepts and language

Duties

  • The inventing, design, analysis, building and testing of machines, systems, structures and materials to fulfil objectives and requirements while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety and cost
  • Research, Design, Development & Projects
  • Assist in providing general information and resolving queries and other technical issues within the engineering department
  • Design and optimization of electronic components for design and manufacturing purposes
  • Detailed calculations to develop manufacturing and installations standards and specifications
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
  • Continuous improvement
  • Technical support
  • Accuracy of marketing material
  • Accurate management and reporting of expenditure
