Project Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Project Administrator to join their team in Johannesburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, competitive rates, exposure and an excellent working environment

The Project Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of our projects. The successful candidate should have experience in project management, contracting requirements and preparation.

Requirements

  1. Supporting the IT project team of the organization
  2. Deliver project financial reporting
  3. Assist on larger projects, where there is a substantial amount of documentation and formal communications, such as regular project meetings, meeting minutes and status updates
  4. Co-ordinate project resources such as people, information, rooms and equipment
  5. Providing general administrative support to projects, under the direction of more experienced project management professionals and PMO leadership
  6. Assist with producing proposals, plans and reports
  7. Organize and maintain project files and databases
  8. Assist with monitoring the project budget, scheduling meetings and preparing presentations
  9. Manage small low risk, low impact projects that do not have a large business impact
  10. Assist the PMO leadership in establishing and updating the project delivery methodology and templates

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field an advantage
  2. 4 years of related experience
  3. Accredited Project Management Certification
  4. Working knowledge or project management, flowcharts and technical documentation
