SUMMARY:
Large Mobile Technologies Company based in Johannesburg North is Seeking to employ a Programmer.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Prepare specifications and user requirements
Train and assist more junior programmers
Development and maintenance on new and existing software
Document more complex programs or modules
Write, test and maintain programs for point of sale terminals and other hardware platforms as required
Write programs according to their specifications
Code software by following detailed design specifications, including error paths
Provide ongoing support throughout lifecycle of the product (or until the support responsibility has been re-allocated) , to all departments and customers as and when required
Update, repair, modify and expand existing programs as and when required

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 + years related experience
Experience with embedded software development
Knowledge of C
Writing efficient code
Writing technical documentation
Adhering to coding and development standards set by the company
Develop an understanding of the complete life cycle, including developing test cases and test plans
