SUMMARY:
A company based in Brooklyn, Pretoria is seeking to employ a Programme Officer/ Coordinator to support the Programme Head with effective programme management by facilitating and coordinating the effective execution of all programme activities in adherence to the companies policies and procedures and programme specific requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:

- A BCom degree or equivalent degree / diploma in business or financial administration

-In addition a qualification in project management will be beneficial

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-At least 5 years’ experience as a project/programme officer or coordinator

-Good knowledge and understanding of programme thematic areas

-Knowledge and understanding of results based management and reporting

-Excellent understanding of financial administration

-Previous experience in grants management and reporting will be desirable

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

-Superior project management and coordination skills

-Exceptional skills in planning and organizing events and the ability to multi task several complex processes simultaneously.

-Skilled and competent in using all Microsoft packages including: MSWord, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet

-Good Financial / Accounting skills

-Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written)
Mature level of emotional intelligence
