Programme Manager - Cloud

Deloitte, in partnership with a long standing, reputable client, is looking for an expert Programme Manager with Cloud experience. 

       Resource may be required on an ad hoc basis to travel to other client Sites outside of Johannesburg to interact with clients, attend off site workshops, etc.

BACKGROUND 

Our business needs are to immediately drive down costs while we re-envision digitally transforming into a more flexible, adaptable and sustainable organization going into the future. In order to fully support the business in this, as IM we need to re-envision how we provide core services to business. Our current time to market on most services need much improvement in order to ensure business has the advantage required in these times. The most cost-effective way of achieving this would be to leverage economies of scale that public cloud providers offer. By nature, cloud computing services are global, scalable, programmable and available on-demand, with no need to undertake long-term capital investments. Therefore, to support the business vision, our organization will adopt a multi cloud strategy.

There is a requirement for an experienced Project/Program manager to support this program in ensuring its success and expected value realized.

CLOUD JOURNEY – Programme Manager

Role summary:

Cloud Program manager to assist, in a support and program management role, with driving the IM cloud journey strategic project and adoption program

Core deliverables to be performed:

• Packaging reporting and steerco presentations
• Facilitation of steerco sessions
• Managing steerco minutes and actions
• Manage working sessions
• Facilitate scrum of scrums
• Facilitate the removal of blockers/impediments
• Backlog creation and management
• Drive execution of tasks and stories and accountability
• Packaging reporting and steerco presentations

SA Skills Required:

• 7 to 10 years’ experience in project management
• Experienced in cloud patterns and advantage
• Experienced in cloud governance and advantage
• Experienced in cloud migration and cloud adoption projects
• Ability to assess and create cloud migration packages an advantage
• Experienced in the management of large-scale global programs
• Experienced in Scrum Master and Agile product delivery methodology
• Technical background (Infrastructure, networking or application design and implementation)
• Solid understanding of public cloud computing (Microsoft Azure)
• Ability to interact with wide range of stakeholders (technical to executive)
• Experienced in bringing information together from different sources (people and systems)
