Programme Manager

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The Programme Manager is primarily responsible for managing programme deliverables in line with the mandate, facilitating project governance and supervising day-to-day activities of the programme. In supporting the Director, the Programme Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of short to medium term projects for their implementation within a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent will achieve this through industry market research, networking with industrial partners and delivering on projects. He/she will further contribute to the growth path of any new business opportunities of the unit to fit future opportunities.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Manage the project management portfolio

• Manage programme deliverables in line with the mandate

• Scoping of technology programmes

• Mentor and grow engineering talent

• Promotion of new technologies in the unit

• New business identification

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of the electric vehicle industry and its ecosystem

• Good communicator providing information at all levels and provide information to a diverse stakeholder group

Project management and ability to produce formal documentation to a professional standard

•Previous experience within an Automotive based role preferred but not essential

REQUIREMENTS

Required Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Management or Engineering or similar

Required Minimum Experience: At least 5 years’ experience working in project management environment
