Professional Nurse - Trauma trained

SUMMARY:

A challenging position for a Trauma trained nurse has become vacant at a Level 1 Trauma unit of a hospital in Durban.

Applicants must have a post basic Trauma qualification and minimum of 2 yrs nursing experience within this unit.

POSITION INFO:

Education Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Nursing & SANC registered
Post basic Accident & Emergency or Trauma qualification (essential)
Current BLS and ACLS certification advantage
Minimum of 2 years current nursing experience in a Trauma/Emergency unit of a hospital 
Good communication skills
Ability to multi task and make accurate decisions
Ability and willingness to work both day & night shifts as per operational requirements
Computer proficient
