Professional Nurse - NNICU

SUMMARY:
Neonatal ICU nurses required for a hospital situated in the south of Durban.

POSITION INFO:

The main responsibilities includes:

• Nursing care to premature and ill new-born babies in  a safe and healthy environment
• Assisting doctors and execute their orders
• Stock control and correct patient billing
• Providing comfort and support to parents and family members

 Education/Skills:

Diploma/Degree in General Nursing Science and Midwifery (essential)

SANC registered and proof of personal indemnity

2yrs+ nursing exp in NNICU ward required

Previous working experience within a maternity ward would be advantage

Experience nursing Oscillated and Ventilated babies

Ability to work both day & night shift

Excellent verbal communication skills

Analytical thinker
