Professional Nurse - CPT

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an EE opportunity available for a Professional Nurse. This position will be temporary for 9 months, based in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Proof of current registration with SANC (South African Nursing Council)
• Previous 1 year working experience in a hospital / primary health care setting after qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, legal and ethical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and standards as determined by the organisation
• Professional communication (Written and Verbal)

KPAs:

• Screen employees and visitors to determine any observable COVID-19 symptoms
• Identify high risk patients and refer them for further investigation
• Provide telephonic medical advice and support to employee post confirmation of their results
• Create awareness on COVID19
• Provide screening data for reporting purposes
