Production purchaser & Stock Controller - based in KZN

SUMMARY:
A client based in Durban is looking for a Production purchaser and Stock Controller from the clothing industry

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Experience with purchasing using Pastel and stock control using excel/inventory system
• Purchasing Locally and overseeing the importation of materials
• Ensuring orders are received timeously
• Project Management to implement and follow through and using project management software to oversee production relating to purchasing
• Knowledge of trims and all components relating to clothing
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel for reporting and monitoring
• Overseeing Stock Control 
• Overseeing Dispatch 
• Ensure ISO standards are maintained
• Assisting with Tenders by sourcing material 
• Good negotiation skills to manage and negotiate the best pricing with suppliers
• Control / Management of inventory-raw materials and finished goods ensuring stock is monitored and recorded daily
• Cost analysis of all orders
• Updating of costings
