POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Coordination of production activities and resources so that planned products are produced to requirements, quality standards and within budget.
Ensure Occupational Health and Safety standards are maintained.
Coordinate production activities ensuring planned maintenance is met with Prod. Superintendent and Production is done within the cost structures and standards.

Min Requirements:

Grade 12

Production Management Diploma/Certificate coupled with a minimum of 5 years
Supervisory experience.
Must have at least 3 years experience in a forging plant, Hydraulic pressers and must be hands-on.
A high level of numerical ability, strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to manage staff and to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Have past experience in Industrial Relations, Disciplinary and
Occupational Health and Safety systems.
Be able to work shifts

Technical Trade qualification will be advantageous

Experience is essential in Production Supervisory with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry. Skilled in Process Control, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, and Plant Maintenance.
