JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring! Eskort has an exciting role available as a Production Supervisor for our Deboning Department.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that subordinates get out the assigned amount of production, when they are supposed to do it and within acceptable levels of quality, costs and safety.

JOB PURPOSE
To overseer whose main responsibility is to ensure that subordinates get out the assigned amount of production, when they are supposed to do it and within acceptable levels of quality, costs and safety.

JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12, Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar

EXPERIENCE

At least 2-3-year experience, preferably in Food manufacturing industry.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Basic knowledge of HACCP
Experience in the Deboning line production and preparation will be an advantage
Knowledge of Quality Assurance
Food Safety and good manufacturing practices.
Ability to report on agreed KPA’s
Experience in food production and preparation will be an advantage.
Food safety and good manufacturing practices.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Fully literate with good communication skills and be a team player
Numeric skills and accuracy essential.
Critical thinking
Problem Solving
Be flexible with working hours as requested.
