Production Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

Production Supervisor required for award winning automotive manufacturing company in East London.

Your role will include:

• Ensure that production flows from one station to another in line with JIT/JIS and production targets
• Responsible for monitoring production flow and identify any potential risks
• Responsible for the day to day running of production
• Responsible to analyse of quality and production problems
• Take part in FMEA''s
• Continuously aim to improve the work methods and quality of the product
• Assist in creating working instructions
• Responsible for on-going cross functional training of all operators
• Responsible to maintain and update multi skills matrix
• Responsible to ensure all safety rules are followed

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• Minimum Matric / Grade 12 is essential
• Production Management qualification or similar tertiary qualification
• 3 - 4 Years Supervisory experience
• Excellent Leadership Skills
• JIT/JIS experience within a shift environment
