Production Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Plastics Recycling industry, based in the Germiston area of Johannesburg, has an EE opportunity available for a Production Supervisor.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Minimum N3
• Qualified Millwright/Electrician/Fitter/Toolmaker
• Plastics Manufacturing qualification NQF 4 or 5
• Supervisory course (preferable)
• 3 – 5 years’ minimum experience in Production or Manufacturing management roles in an industrial/ manufacturing environment, with exposure to all areas of production and manufacturing
• 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
• Plastics industry technical knowledge ideally in Injection Moulding and Injection Compression Moulding
• Computer literacy: Ms Office, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

KPAs:

• Ensuring maximum quality approved products are produced in accordance with specifications
• Ensuring production efficiency is achieved on a constant basis 
• Control of material wastage
• Improve machine efficiencies
• Assist in breakdowns, repairs and also report faulty components
• Ensuring that reporting is done as required as required by all stakeholders
