Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry specializing in strong adhesives and chemical processing, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee their production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processing, a keen eye for safety and quality, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production targets are met within the specified quality and safety standards.

• Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet production goals.

• Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with other departments (such as R&D, Quality Control, and Logistics) to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of production schedules.

• Implement and enforce strict safety guidelines and practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

• Analyze production data and reports to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement improvements.

• Participate in the development and implementation of new production processes and technologies to enhance productivity and product quality.

• Demonstrated experience in leading safety initiatives and compliance in a manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.

• Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or a similar qualification is a plus.
