Production Planner/Scheduler – Gouda, Cape Winelands - R30,000 - R35,000 per month
Requirements
- Industrial Engineer Diploma or Similar
- 3-5 years of planning/Scheduling experience
- VIP Systems Operator or similar
Responsibilities:
Preparing and scheduling daily production requirements in close cooperation with the sales, distribution and material supply departments to coordinate production output with customers'' orders.
Interpret the production plan and allocates work to specific departments ensuring efficient use of existing resources.
Draws up a master schedule to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Confers with department managers to determine the status of assigned orders.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepares production reports versus schedule.
Implement at least two new ideas (innovations) in your department
