Our client, a leading Food and Beverage Manufacturing company, specializing in short shelf-life products, seeks to employ a well organised, multi-skilled and experienced Production Planner, to join their fast paced Production team

Please note that only candidates from the food and beverage manufacturing sector will be considered and those with short shelf-life, dairy or related production will receive preference.

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed a tertiary qualification in supply chain, production or engineering, coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in Production Planning in a ERP/MRP driven environment.
• You will have a sound working knowledge of food production processes, quality control, product costing and resource sourcing within a food manufacturing environment, coupled with sound business acumen, good time management skills, understanding of equipment capacity and problem solving mathematics.
• Ideally, you will be able to evaluate systems and tools used to streamline and improve production capacity, efficiency and resources
• You will be analytical, logical, experienced in a fast paced environment and have a good working knowledge of quality of raw materials, resources and best practices
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
