Production Planner - Boland Region - R25,000-R30,000 per month (Negotiable)

Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering or similar
• 3-5 years’ experience with the FMCG industry
• Experienced planner and VIP systems operator

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and scheduling daily production requirements in close co-operation with the sales
• Distribution and material supply departments to co-ordinate production output with customers'' orders. Interpreting the production plan and allocates work to specific departments ensuring efficient use of existing resources.
• Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacturing of products to meet the customer orders.
• Draws up a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Confers with department managers to determine status of assigned orders.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares production reports versus schedule.
• Implement at least two new ideas (innovations) in your department monthly.
