Production Planner

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Plan production efficiently and cost effectively

Prepare weekly production forecast

Collect data and prepare reports for all relevant role players

Plan and communicate production requirements and schedules to all relevant role players

Ensure all resources remain available to deliver the production plan timeously and without deviations

Ensure that figures are captured

Identify and Drive process improvements to reduce product cost

Ensure capturing of all figures on the ERP system

Uphold the company’s core values by ensuring al IR issues is area are consistently handled

Identify and streamline existing procedures

Identify risks in area of responsibility and immediate operations

Schedule production plan to align with food safety and quality requirements

Active participation in FCW and L2 and L3 meetings

Project Management

Skills & Experience:

Good admin skills

Experience with business principles

Time Management skills

Coordination skills

Systems Evaluation experience

Analytical thinker

Experience with food production (knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control is ADV

Qualification:

Minimum of Grade 12

Degree or Diploma tertiary qualification in Production/Supply Chain or Financial component is ADV

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
