Production Planner

SUMMARY:
Secure your future in a Packaging Manufacturing Industry, a recycling company based in Johannesburg is looking for a Production Planner to provide insightful information and analysis to the site manager enabling decision making. If you are good in planning, material management and reporting then this is your opportunity.

POSITION INFO:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Matric
• Diploma/ Degree in Logistics management or Supply Chain
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the fast passed manufacturing industry  
• Proficiency in JD Edwards (SAP or Syspro)

 Job description

• Create work orders as per the production plan
• Full management of consignment stock, updating the systems, monthly recons and consignment of availability of stock
• Report on overstock items
• Report on material availability and risks to the plan including control and governance
• Review SOP and ensure process flow is in line with actual processes.
• Manage ISIM master data and ensure planning time fences, buffer stocks and lead times are updated correctly.
