Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Production Planner to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Production Planner to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Prepare the weekly production forecast.
*Reports Collect data and prepare reports for all relevant role players.
*Plan and Communicate production requirements and schedules to all relevant role players.
*Revise and adjust the plan as per requirements.
*Ensure that all resources remain available to deliver the production plan timeously and without deviations.
*Confirmed and unconfirmed figures are captured.
*Ensure that Confirmed and unconfirmed figures are captured.
*Process improvement and waste reduction.
*Identify and drive process improvements to reduce product cost/liter.
*Maintain administrative systems.
*Ensure the capturing of all figures on the ERP System.
*Ensure a healthy IR climate at all times.
*Uphold the company’s core values by ensuring all IR issues in your area are consistently and fairly handled.
*Create an environment of continuous improvement.
*Identify and streamline existing procedures and implement improvements.
*Risk Management Identifies risks in the area of responsibility and immediate operations.
*Schedule production plan to align with food safety and quality requirements.

5 Years of Experience

Qualifications

*Grade 12, degree or diploma tertiary qualification in production/supply chain.
*Qualification with financial component.
*A minimum of 5 years working experience in a Planning capacity or similar roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry, and 3 years working experience in an ERP/MPR driven environment.
