SUMMARY:
A reputable organization within the Components industry seeks to employ a Production Planner

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Planning Qualification would be advantageous

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Production Planner role.
Previous experience in manufacturing components
ISO 9001
Experience in MS Dynamix / Navision (Advantageous) or similar e.g. SYSPRO, Pastel etc.
Proficient in Excel

Duties

To ensure all aspects of Production Planning: Raw materials, Plain, Spheroidised; Pickle and phosphate
Machinery, taps and other tooling
Issue work orders, maintain schedule in excel and Navision
Plan, Prioritize and process raw materials, purchase orders, including receipts and issues to and from sub-contractors
Record production permission daily
Book stock into the warehouse from the factory after issuing raw material, ensuring correct cost/coil numbers
Ensure heat treatment, purchase orders, including receipts and issue to and from sub-contractors with daily planner
Co-ordinate deliveries and collections with the sub-contractors and suppliers with daily planner
Ensure that delivery dates from factory, sub-contractors and suppliers are up to date with Navision with daily planner
Ensure daily data is formulated
