SUMMARY:
Production Manager - Limpopo

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

vInterpret Company production plan and break into plant/factory level plan.

vEnsure production plans/schedules are followed and where variances develop, implement a catch-up / corrective action plan.

vReport to the General Manager on all factory outputs.

vDrive improvement and efficiency in all production lines.

vEnsure best operating practices are implemented and continuous improvement embedded within the factory.

vDrive all projects and report to the General Manager on status and risks and management thereof.

vEnsure factory targets and deadlines are achieved.

vEnsure cost reduction activities and budget management and planning.

Requirements:

vGrade 12 certificate.

vBachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Operations/Production.

vProject Management Certificate.

vFive (5) years’ experience as a Production/Operations Manager preferably within the FMCG or Plant Environment.

Knowledge & Skills:

vKnowledge of FMCG Manufacturing environment.

vExcellent communication skills.

vComputer literate.

vExcellent problem-solving.

vAnalytical and Technical skills.

vNumerical abilities.

vPlanning and Organizing skills.

vGood project management skills.

vLeadership skills.

vHealth and Safety management skills.
