Production Manager

Established manufacturer is looking for a Production Manager to ensure that orders are satisfied with quality and on-time. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager, Logistics Manager and Sales team.

For the position you would be required to have:

• Minimum of Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification would be a definite advantage
• Minimum of 5 years' production management experience
• Computer literate: MS Office, production scheduling software and MRP software
• CNC machine basic programming will be a definite benefit

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Ensure quality products are delivered on-time through management of all available resources, including staff, tools, equipment and systems
• Pre-production planning and production scheduling
• Identify and improve inefficient systems, policies and processes
• Ensure manufacturing facility/equipment/machinery is appropriate and in good condition
• General housekeeping
