POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Production Control

• Monitor and review manufacturing operations and processes in order to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Ensure all production processes are cost-effective and efficient
• Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained and serviced to specification
• Plan daily & weekly workflows

Quality Control

• Ensure ISO3834 requirements are met, maintained and ISO certifications are upheld
• Ensure production processes, equipment being used and working environments are all conducive to producing a high-quality product both safely and efficiently
• Monitor production activity to ensure appropriate manufacturing methods are employed
• Ensure non-conforming product rectified and/or repaired as a top priority
• Ensure finished goods are checked and found to be correct, complete, and compliant with all relevant specifications prior to dispatch

Manufacturing Documentation and Processes

• Ensure all manufacturing documentation conforms to company standards
• Ensure all manufacturing operations are conducted in accordance with company policy and/or processes

Interdepartmental Coordination and Teamwork

• Ensure coordination between the individual production departments within the factory

Human Resources

• Staff Training and Development
• Monitor, review, and address personnel underperformance
• Address staff discipline and grievance issues

Operational Performance:

• Achieve a correct and on-time delivery target of 95%
• Assist in the management of any changes to business requirements as and when required
• Assist in the implementation of improvements to processes and systems, in order to increase

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification related to the industry will be advantageous
• Refrigeration & electrical knowledge
• 3-5 Years of management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working on refrigeration packs & racks
• Knowledge of tools
• MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills
