Our client, a diverse injection moulding and plastics manufacturing company, is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Production Manager at their plant in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Please Note that we will be giving preference to candidates who have a background in Plastics and Injection Mould manufacturing

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

KEY CRITERIA TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You must have a Tertiary qualification in Operations or Production Management, coupled with 5-10 years experience in managing a fast paced injection moulding or plastics manufacturing facility
• Your track record will be exemplary in the field of driving production, attaining quality standard of the highest level, ensuring that equipment and machinery is functioning optimally and planning is accurate for inventory purposes
• In addition, you will have a good basis in leading projects and running efficient ERP/MRP?IMS systems.
• You will have had previous working experience in a fast paced and multi-faceted manufacturing environment
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
